What Serany thinks about this poem

Meaning

A man leaves instructions for his own funeral. Don't honour where he died, honour where he lived. Don't visit the grave, visit his friends. And bring seeds, not flowers.

Who's it for

Someone who didn't want a fuss and said so. Right for a family who'd rather people came round than sent flowers.

Are you planning a funeral?

A Serany website keeps the whole funeral in one place: the plans and the details, who is coming, flowers and donations, and somewhere for everyone who knew them to leave a memory.
