What Serany thinks about this poem

Meaning

Someone gets through an ordinary day after a death. Out of bed, eggs on, the tube, turning up, making the right noises. The only thing that gives him away is not knowing whether to say is or was.

Who's it for

A family still doing everything right and feeling none of it. Right for the first few weeks, when everybody is more tired than sad.

Are you planning a funeral?

A Serany website keeps the whole funeral in one place: the plans and the details, who is coming, flowers and donations, and somewhere for everyone who knew them to leave a memory.
